Images like the one above, Christ and Mary Magdalene holding hands at Kilmore Church on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, may confuse people as much as enlighten them about Jesus’ beloved friend, but at minimum it’s a pretty picture.

THE APOSTLES’ CREED
