The Most Rev. Terrence Finlay, former Archbishop of Toronto, has died. He is best known for dismissing a Gay priest, the Rev. Jim Ferry, in 1992, then having his own license to officiate at weddings suspended in 2006 for presiding at the marriage of two women. Years later Finlay and Ferry met at the altar for a public reconciliation. (Anglican Church of Canada)
