By now you’ve heard that Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi won the Nobel Prize for Peace, she as an advocate for girls’ education and he as a leader against the trafficking and enslavement of children. It’s wonderful to note this pairing of an Indian Hindu and a Pakistani Muslim. From now on he will be much better known around the world, as any Nobel winner becomes; in this case she lends some of her fame to him. (The Washington Post)
