Advent, soon to be upon us, is the perfect time for confession, as commended by the Apostle James in our next lesson. It’s healing, not scary or embarrassing. It isn’t just for Roman Catholics or high-church Anglicans, either; the Protestant soul is equally aware of its sinfulness and need for forgiveness.
